Any tests/requirements to get in?

No! The only way in (by state law) is a lottery every April.

Are there any enrichment programs offered after-school?

Yes! We offer after school clubs and sports teams. We have clubs such as arts & crafts, video games, wrestling, gardening and it changes every quarter! Our sports teams consist of basketball, volleyball, soccer, etc..

Do you have transportation?

Yes! We work with the DOE to offer yellow bus service to qualifying students in 5th & 6th grade. We also offer free yearly OMNY cards. Students living 1-5 miles from the school may qualify for general bussing. If your child has bussing services on their IEP, they can receive bussing services according to their needs.

Do you serve students with IEP’s/special education?

Absolutely! We offer mandated counseling, speech and OT services. We also have integrated co-teaching classrooms for Math and ELA. We do not have have self contained classes (12:1, 12:1:1, 8:1).

How much does the school cost?

We are completely tuition free. We are a public school.

I’ve heard X about CREO College Prep!

We opened roughly about 5 years ago. We are a solo school. What does that mean? We are not affiliated with any other schools and this is our only location.

What school supplies do I need to provide for my child?

We offer all school supplies, all four years at zero cost!

What technology will be provided by the school?

Every student has a chromebook that they will use throughout the day. Students complete most assignments through the laptops and use it on a daily basis. These do not go home.

What time does the school start/end/how long is the school day?

Monday through Thursday, we start our day at 7:30 & end at 4:00pm. If a student is enrolled in after school the day ends at 5pm. On Fridays our day is from 7:30-1:00pm. Students who receive bussing dismiss at 4:45 Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays they get on the bus at 1pm. We provide breakfast, snack, lunch, and breaks between classes.

When is the first day of school?

Our first day of school isi always scheduled during the last week of August.

When will I know if my child has been accepted?

Immediately after the lottery in early April.

Where can I purchase the school uniform?

The first two sets are free the first year only, after that at our summer welcome events, online, or at the school as supplies last.

Will there be extra help throught the day?

Yes! We have a period where we offer extra support for Math and ELA subjects. In addition, to that we have small groups, where students get pulled out of class daily to work in a smaller setting if need be.
